Conference Attendees had fun building robots and high-tech graffiti TEDActive small event in Palm Springs last month, thanks to Newegg and the Maker Shed. The annual meeting of the great thinkers had a Newegg sponsored Tinker Box "lab" area where conference attendees built bristlebots, throwies LED and RGB LED lamps origami.





My friend Tod Kurt and I were asked to come up with some projects for the maker of Newegg. We had a month to do so. We've ruled welding packages, too slow. We chose the three folders listed above, but I knew it would be difficult to source the parts you need in time. Rob and Marc enter the Maker Shed. He turned to custom order in record time and without problems, except the announcement that "not a lot of fun to try to separate the huge piles of magnets in individual folders.
