In the market for manufacturers: Drop Dead spike16: 00 22/03/2010, Sean Michael Ragan, market makers, brand blog
For those not up on their Tradecraft, a "Drop Dead" is a place where spies or clandestine people and leave the items for later retrieval by other agents. A "peak Drop Dead" is an ingenious little container specially designed for this. It is basically a hollow metal tip with an airtight screw on top. You put your top secret microfilm or whatever inside the ear, take it to the Drop Dead, and stomp on the ground with his foot. Then cover it with a rock or a piece of trash or whatever. The lid has a built-pull circuit, so that when contact is the clearest of the fall, he or she can grab the tip of the loop and tear it down again.
When I heard about years ago peaks drop dead, I had a little nerdgasm and decided he had to have one. I walked through the pipes, but unfortunately nobody was selling. Imagine my delight when a couple of years later, I discovered that Brian Hollow Spy Coins Dereu had added a good Spike drop dead machine to its inventory. I ordered one immediately and could not be more satisfied with their quality. That was at least a year, and I can say, Brian and his family still the only ones that sell online.
